i may be totally wrong on this one sometimes i just hear a song and keep
humming the melody and then pick it up on the mando on my ownbasically
the melody that stays with me... i am most certain that a lot of it gets
lost but i keep going back to it and learn more of it over time... my way

these baul dudes are extremely poor people and in much need of the money.
they are happy if someone willingly gives them something after listning to
their music. the purist will almost never ask for any money. i will
