I am sitting at work listening to the 5 CD box set of the Blue Sky
Boys that I picked up at the Blue Grass Museum during Monroe Camp.
Their vocal harmonies are really pretty nice.
If you have anything by them, listen to Didn't They Crucify My Lord
from (1936-1937) and think about Cryin' Holy To
Their harmonies are my favorite part about them. I just discovered on this
website they have an out of print Blue Sky Boys album for free download. .
As well as many other out of print bluegrass albums. You have to click the

I have not done a video of myself in a long while but doing the Grub
Springs video last week made me rethink about my right hand
technique.

The tone you are getting on the Grub sounds good to me. Does it
sound good to you. I think that is what matters. If you produce a
tone that pleases you then you have succeeded. The problem is that
the quest for better tone seems to be an endless journey. It might
become boring
