strange things happens often more than once, so this one:
I see it in the connection centre after getting connected
to my POP3 server, I see there how many mails are waiting, then
the downloadcounting starts, 1,2,3... and then the connect breaks
and the logfile tells things like:

The messages now get somehow marked with a colour group which I
certainly did not define (but are not moved nor marked as read). See
the attached PNGs.
