What I did with an IMAP account:
1. Set a new folder under INBOX
2. Set a new filter - filter message with found header string - move
to new folder
3. Re-filter the INBOX
4. After some messages found filtering stopped. When I re-start
re-filtering when process finds a message it stops

The messages now get somehow marked with a colour group which I
certainly did not define (but are not moved nor marked as read). See
the attached PNGs.
I am not sure where the light blue colouring comes from. *puzzled*

slipping by the account filter... ;(

Yesterday, my spam filter did not filter a couple of spam mails. I
have no idea why. Those messages are not filtered from my inbox, Test
Filters shows my filter should be working.
My spam filter is the last filter in a chain of filters and looks
