I've noticed an appreciable slow down when trying to print out an

Anyone else notice this phenomenon?

Hello Vili,

Anybody using Voyager: does the POP3 protocol logging works for you?

I don't normally use it so I went and enabled it, did a manual mail
check and looked at the log file. It seemed to be logging darn near
everything that happened.

If there was anything in particular you wanted checked out in the log
let me know.

Unable to open install package.
Verify if the package exists and you have right to access it, or
contact the owner of the package to check if the package is a valid
Windows Installer install package.
Did the user try to install from the local drive or from the network/substed
 drive?
Please install the MSIs from the location visible by both current
user and the SYSTEM account. For example, in some cases if you
install from the user's home directory, it may not work, because the
Windows Installer context switches to SYSTEM account which may have
no access rights to the user's home directory. The same is with
network drives. A drive letter assigned by one account may not be valid under
 another account.

Thank you Max!

I will report the results!!!

Then how do you reply to a particular person or folder for whom you have

Anyway, you could change the keystrokes in TB! to suit your method of

What did you set as the protocol log file?

At me, I set e.g.
\infoms.log
\infobat.log

etc.

That is a relative path and should work as the files are created...

Would you setup like protocol log for e.g. 6 of your accounts (if that
many exists :) and report back?

At me, it is broken.

I dont know... I dont _totally_ agree... Even in WinXP, you can
optimize a stick for performance, but if writing is delayed and for
some reason you have got a power failure... Or I just dont trust MS to
let them manage delayed writing :))

(If I would not have a 2.5 USB HDD drive, of course I would still use

lost attachments after restore to 3.99.3

2007-05-07 Thread David Pascoe

I restored a backup file (from XP) into 3.99.3 running under Vista. Everything is working fine so far, except for all attachments in one account. The icon appears at the bottom of the message, but if I double click TB! crashes. Save As tells me the attachment is not there.

I can see a heap of attachments in c:\users\davidp\AppData\Roaming\TheBat!\account name\Attach but TB! seems to have lost the link to them all. Other accounts are ok.

If I go to Account - Properties - Files Directories - Attachments - Directory, it says default and when I hit browse I see the correct `Attach' directory.

Is there anyway to fix this ? It is like TB! doesn't have open permission or something. Run as Administrator doesn't help, TB! still crashes and explorer can open files there no problem.

thanks,
davidp.
