PGP/MIME TBBETA issue
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi Bat's, this is a followup to my former thread called === strange Problem regarding pgp signed mails creating new messages there is a privacy switch named PGP/MIME. You may select auto-on-off. choosing auto gives unpredictable results, as reported in the first thread. you have to switch on or off explicitly to get what you want. the problem is: next time calling the editor this PGP/MIME switch is reset to auto, always. this is a bug, isn't it? should be fixed. any comments? - -- Regards, Peter | The Bat! 4.1.11.2 - multiple POP3 accounts | Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional | Version 5.00.2195 - Service Pack 4 | CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) Processor,1400MHz | RAM: 2048 MB -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (MingW32) Comment: Protect Privacy! iEYEARECAAYFAkmIEBgACgkQaiLnSm7v+zsjigCg5kvCgxPJmgbjNXVNHKoyNzHw ifkAoJ5vpPzMHRglWPewBmnBFVnkWusq =6Ky8 -END PGP SIGNATURE- Current beta is 4.1.11.2 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: Vista 64 issues
[Reply to: »Volker Ahrendt« · 2009-01-16 · 17:36 h (CET)] Open/closed state for the first account in the folder tree is not remembered between sessions. Confirmed. Never noticed it before as I prefer it to be opened and it is, but I closed it and after a restart it was open again. Confirmed. – I noticed this behavior with the second account in the folder tree on a system with Win XP (see below). Works for me again in current version: 4.1.11.2 Cheers! Hello Peter, I can not confirm having problems with the Bat signing emails, not with pgp/mime and not with clearsign/cleartext messages. That goes for signing manually and for signing automaticly. Re: Issue in the Message list
You should try to change font in message list pane, current font probably can not display them You were right, I think, that was the problem. The mails with the strange boxes used some Korean charset. I tried to change the font of the message list in my v4.0.28, I could not find it. On the Color group page I did not find the option how to modify the font itself. Where was it moved? Voyager: new filters and new filter conditions don't work
Hi all, I created a couple of new filters for incoming messages and added OR conditions to existing ones. None of them works when I refilter the inbox. Re: Issue in the Message list
Select like 2 messages with the name correctly shown and 2 messages where the name shows up with blocks. Export them as Unix mailbox, send to me in a private mail and I send you the answer. I had to reboot for reasons that had nothing to do with the Bat and with no other changes, the blocks are gone and all names appear correctly. Dramatic increase in VM use
1. Open the Task Manager 2. Be sure that you have the VM size, Memory use columns. 3. When I start up TB, these numbers are around 52 MB. 4. Hit Ctrl+R (Reply) on a message. At me, the memory and VM use goes up to 130-140 MB in like 2-3 seconds. It is too much of an increase. Re: PGP/MIME TBBETA issue
Hi Peter, the problem is: next time calling the editor this PGP/MIME switch is reset to auto, always. you can use %NOPGPMIME or %PGPMIME in templates. this is a bug, isn't it? should be fixed. I'm not sure whether this is a bug, switching to Auto seems to be correct. -- Best wishes Miroslav BAT-MAIL.DE.VU - http://bat-mail.de.vu Current beta is 4.1.11.2 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
