5.0.24 MSI files
Hello TBBETA, We are going to release a bugfixing MSI that resolves only certain important issues since last release 5.0.20. So we took the code base of 5.0.20 and applied some fixes to make 5.0.24. [-] A sorting office action to move or copy messages to folders with templates in the destination folder names, did prevent from specifying template arguments which did contain non-file characters [-] Sometimes a filter action to move a message to a folder couldn't be created due to invalid checking of folder file name, it could fail on a legitimate name. [-] AV when trying to get host name by IP-address [-] Smartpad-related fixes [-] The Bat! was unable to add a root certificate to trusted store [-] (#0008813) Operations with X.509 certificates in the account properties weren't saved [-] When opening a message on IMAP that contained inline html graphics, The Bat! could display a progress window without a caption Could you please confirm that these problem have been in fact fixed and the files 5.0.24 run and install properly? http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/intpack_5-0-24.msi http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/thebat_home_5-0-24.msi http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/thebat_pro_5-0-24.msi http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/thebat_rus_5-0-24.msi -- Best regards, Maxim mailto:m...@ritlabs.com Current beta is 5.0.22.15 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Re: 5.0.24 MSI files
Hi, I am really one only, who can not access Gmail and Exchange server via TLS because following error for almost month? :-( !6.10.2011, 14:18:52: IMAP - The server does not support TLS, it uses SSL protocol version 3.0 which is outdated and insecure (version 3.1 known as TLS is required) just a hint. Im using avast (free) as a antivir-scanner. TB! or any other mailsoftware have to be setup without TLS/SSL Port. All that is made by Avast. Thats because Avast (or other scanners) cant analyse SSL encrypted connections. SSL is made bei Avast for the mailaccounts. Hello Dwight, Thursday, October 6, 2011, , you wrote: DC yes, I can confirm that this is now working. To reproduce that bug, the user had to clear IMAP cache and open a message that had files that weren't accually attachments, like web-embedded image or digital signature. Or if the content-disposition of a file is not attachment. In those cases, The Bat! did remove the attachment mark from the message list, and this removal had a bug thaat might have caused IMAP to hang. -- Best regards, Maximmailto:m...@ritlabs.com Current beta is 5.0.22.15 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
