I have a similar but different problem. For nearly every email I send,
I get SEND - The message to xxx is sent but could not be moved from
Outbox to the Sent folder. The message is parked in the Outbox

The message is actually moved to the sent folder so this message is
pointless.

I suspect the TB! tries to send the message, finds the connection
closed and then complains. This has been happening for a couple of
version now. Sounds like your problem is an artifact of a similar
problem - namely connection management. We're both using IMAP.

Yes - it was the case with previous versions. Now I don't get this info,
although message is in fact not moved to sent folder and stays parked in

There seems to be a little glitch about that: At one spot, you can now watch

the right hand side of the address column headers, where there are two
little arrows. See screenshot.

Welcome constructive feedback.

From how I see it, almost any program nowadays groups items in this way (have
a look at the File menu of Thunderbird), so what would make TheBat! so
exceptionally bad for joining that track?

I would much more complain about really missing or broken functionality
(such as IMAP used to be or still is, depending on who you ask) - or the
less-then-optimal rollout of a broken V5 release.
