The Bat! 5.0.36.3 (BETA) is available at imap/exchange - failure with sending message: TB! says message sent ok, but in fact message stays in outbox - I have to re-open it, and re-try to sent it; only after the second try message is sent successfully. I suspect the TB! tries to send the message, finds the connection closed and then complains. This has been happening for a couple of version now. Sounds like your problem is an artifact of a similar problem - namely connection management. I have a similar but different problem. For nearly every email I send, I get SEND - The message to xxx is sent but could not be moved from Outbox to the Sent folder. The message is parked in the Outbox Yes - it was the case with previous versions. From how I see it, almost any program nowadays groups items in this way (have a look at the File menu of Thunderbird), so what would make TheBat! so exceptionally bad for joining that track?
