It is not part of the standard installation. If you google for 'Zune XP

Hello Richard,

BR When I switched from classic windows appearance to XP mode on the
BR desktop, then the buttons being on and off is much clearer in the
BR message composition window's on the bottom tool bar. When depressed,
BR an option button turns a red-orange color and is easy to see.
Same here after changing theme to XP. Now to adapt that theme to the
colors/background I want. And, I shouldn't have to do that to get the
 icons to work.

The icons (buttons) do work in classic windows appearance. Although I
must admit the different states are a little more difficult to
differentiate, specially depending on the colours used. But the buttons
'work'. See attached PNGs:

- Normal state, buttons are flat.
- Mouse hover, buttons are in 3D (protruding relief) with shade on right
side and bottom.
- Set state, button depressed. With dark shade on top and light and
bottom.

Hello MAU,

That's what you get with the Classic windows them, I've just verified
it. Try the Windows XP one and you will see them like I do.

Sorry Jens, I just remembered you are using Win2K.

Hi MAU,

I use the Classic Layout without these (gradient?) colors.

I use XP one and, that I can recall, I never changed anything.

When I switched from classic windows appearance to XP mode on the
desktop, then the buttons being on and off is much clearer in the
message composition window's on the bottom tool bar. When depressed,
an option button turns a red-orange color and is easy to see.

Thanks for the tip, Miguel (MAU)!

Same here after changing theme to XP. Now to adapt that theme to the
colors/background I want. And, I shouldn't have to do that to get the
icons to work.

Options Icons

2008-12-16 Thread Richard Newman
Hello Maxim,

In editing plain text messages, the difference in appearance of the icon for
the on/off options of
Confirm receipt and Reading confirmation are barely
distinguishable.

Perhaps the check mark on the on icons should be green or there
should be a big X over the icon when the feature of off. Whatever
the solution, it should be as readily distinquishable as the adjacent
icon for priority.

Other thoughts?

I vote for it.

The problem it's TB! uses only one icon to this actions. The solution
should be the use of two icons and a good customization of them.
