more IMAP problems
Now I noticed that I can't even reply to messages. If I hit reply it's like I selected new message - empty pane is displayed. I'm going back to .137 in hope it would work. And want to address that I'm pretty disappointed with all this long beta testing. Working IMAP was the only thing I went for it Current beta is 5.0.0.138 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
more IMAP problems
.137 didn't worked, so did .136, then I went far beyond and .123 is perfect place for now In case others are frustrated with similar issues Current beta is 5.0.0.138 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I've noticed a few things. a) I have a much higher degree of control over my folders with the other applications. In The Bat, I am very limited in what I can do. b) Set up is snap. Load in the server information and way it goes. c) Thurderbird does not have all of the options that the Bat could have. However, it;s options do work really well. d) I can get to my spam folder quickly with out a problem. I cannot for the life of me find it in The Bat. Very frustrating. Overall, I'm finding the IMAP implementation is moving forward yet the pace is slow and not comparable with other open source applications. I'm hoping the issues will be addressed soon. Jerry Yeah, I hope too, but I can't compare The Bat! performance with Thunderbird. Thunderbird is slow and uses half GB memory. I would never let e-mail program to do that. Not mentioning neat features in The Bat! Only that this beta testing lasts too long and issues are still very present Current beta is 5.0.0.138 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Provided that Thunderbird shows the folders in the same way as they're structured in gmail, The Bat! should show it on the same location. Of course I presume that you've subscribed your bat to the spam folder. Over here I see gmail's spam folder just fine. -- Groetjes, Roelof Moderators are like policemen. Thunderbird does use a lot of memory. Yet, the IMAP does work and works. The challenge I'm having is The Bat - my program of choice - is struggling to get the IMAP sorted out and on track. I need some resolution on the IMAP. I applaud the long careful testing cycle. However, at some point, either the program is ready to move forward or it is the best program for POP only.
