The problem it's the customization. When we recover a backup or a copy
of TBUSER.EEF or TBUSER.DEF this problem appears alsways. As you said
this bug it's there from a lot of years ago.

If you don't use On the Fly Encryption (OTFE) you can edit manually
your TBUSER.DEF and remove the icons you don't need. I suggest you to
do a backup before editing it.

Unlike this, if you're using OTFE you cannot edit this file because
it's encrypted. I asked several years ago to allow us to save the
TBUSER.EEF to an unencrypted version, to allow us edit it and leave it
another time on the user folder. TB! should encrypt it on the next
boot, if the DEF it's present but not the EEF file.

Regards,

Ah, toolbar customiser invoked from the main window instead of a
message viewer one. No wonder I didn't see it.

Well, do me a favour and look at the two screen grabs, showing my
problem:

https://www.screencast.com/t/WFX5FouOx [TB main window with a
dedicated, automatically added Anti Spam Sniper toolbar]

https://www.screencast.com/t/mIUgqNoRYb [TB message viewer window with
multiple - working - instances of mark junk/not junk buttons on the
standard toolbar]

I have this error for years, with Windows 7, Windows 10, a completely
new computer with W10 and a completely fresh install of TB.

Tried it out, does not work.*

The problem isn't that I lack the required buttons to mark as spam or
not but that I have them several times over in the Standard toolbar.

*BTW, I wasn't able to find the 'Send and Check for All'; has it been
abandoned?

Edit Toolbar: Redundant Plug-in Icons

2017-10-14 Thread Dierk . Haasis
Hello TBBETA Members!

I asked this months ago, here as well as the developer of Anti Spam
Sniper but got no answer anywhere. Here we go again:

Why do I have four sets of anti-spam marker icons [that's for
'spam', four 'no spam'] in the toolbar of the edit mail window?

No, the plugin is installed only once. No, there are no further
plug-ins installed. This is a fairly pristine installation on a new
computer, still the issue already existent on a fairly long-running
  system before changing comps persist.
