Ghost Messages
Hello TBBETA Members! With at least every first time start [on a given day] TB shows messages on the MT that will not be shown in the MT browse message window. Sometimes the messages are foud [as unread] in the folder tree, like this time. Deleting them, or just marking them read, will not stop the MT showing them. I closed TB, got an error about the release of some unused T-something, the MT ran on, after a while showing a non-existent, empty message. Had to force-close TB via task manager. Here's a screen grab of the MT with ghost messages: http://screencast.com/t/KACLtoBt1A -- Dierk Haasis [DH² Publishing] The Bat 5.0.8.1 (BETA) on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 Chat info upon request Buss’s Third Law of Human Mating: For every mating adaptation in one sex, there exists at least one co-evolved adaptation in the other sex designed to manipulate and exploit it. Buss’s Fourth Law of Human Mating: For every co-evolved exploitative mating adaptation, there exists at least one co-co-evolved defensive adaptation designed to circumvent being manipulated and exploited. Buss’s Seventh Law of Human Mating: Never reveal your first two laws of mating, lest they be used to manipulate and exploit you. Bug IMAP 3.63.14: ghost messages
Hello beta testers. As mentioned in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] I get ghost messages on moving messages between folders in the current version. Maybe this was also present in the 3 previous versions but I could not run those due to AVs. Today, maybe in 10% of the instances where I have moved a message to another folder, some extra version of the message has be present in the destination folder. No subject/sender/recipient (cannot open with F9) and no size, but it still appears in the message list. Purge/compress, moving to another folder and back (why can we have refreshed without having to do this on every IMAP action???) clears the ghost message.
