Hi Martin, MS Can you tell me which icons have still ugly steps? Most icons have these steps but they the steps are much smaller than in the original file. Therefore, the icons look much smoother. Maybe that this is a W2K SP4 problem but I've never seen this with previuos TheBat! versions.

Hi Martin, MS Did you ever look at the original PNG with your graphic programs? MS Over here it displayes still ugly icons with IrfanView, CorelDraw, MS AcroSoft Foto Studio 2000, SnagIt Studio 6... Yep, I tried with Fireworks. Same ugly icons. And FW can definitely handle alpha-transparency.

Hi, I can confirm this. I see exactely the same ugly icons in 3.0.9.13. Rolling back to 3.0.2.8 and the problem is gone. Everything is displayed correctly. When I open the .png file with an external program, the icons are also not displayed correctly. Therefore, I think it's more a problem of the
