Sort order issue

2011-08-18 Thread Martin Schoch
Hi TBBETA

Today I noticed a strange sort order in a IMAP folder (sent-mail). The
mails should be sorted by Created (no threads) - but as you see in
the attachment there is something wrong with the order.

The message with time 8.04 has date of 18-Aug-2011.

Tis set that way but still seems to be failing to hold. Will just
change the generic view to suit

3.5.rc8 Sort order

2005-05-12 Thread David Elliott
Hello TBBETA,

When did this change.

The sort order seams a bit strange on this folder.

Sort by Recieved (with newest at the bottom)
View by thread.

I am sure it use to be by the message taht started the thread and not
the last message to arrive in the thread

See attached.

C I've got the latest messages in top, I kinda like that, but

That's weird because I like my latest messages at the bottom but it
wanted to put them at the top so I've had to change everything - only
the once though and it remembers all those settings now.

Same here, but when I changed it back to latest on top that setting

I think you should report it. :)

I've a lot of folders... many of which have at least one or two
unread messages so being able to sort them makes it faster for me
to find something... and it makes the whole program more
sensible... the warning says it will change the order and yet it
doesn't... that's not sensible! ;)
