With the current version I have decided to revisit IMAP4 mail handling. It
all seems to be working quite well other than handling attachments.
A attachments are received as 'part.att' which means I can't open them with
their default programs. I can, however, save the attached file and

client. Someone may correct me on this. I also get graphics with no extension,
which is an issue on the original sender's end, yet The Bat reads 99% of them

My office fax system sends an email out when a fax is either sent or
received. The fax is attached as a PDF file. Recently since I've moved over
to IMAP I've noticed that the attachment is always named 'part.att' when it
should be of the form filename.pdf.

attachment from a message and then move the message to another folder
the attachment is back there. Purging the folder before moving the

Not all IMAP clients will do this for you, especially on a message per
message basis. Mulberry has this ability well implemented. So if
you're finding this a show-stopper, give Mulberry
