Moving between messages

I normally use CTRL-right arrow to move through the unread messages, and SPACE to scroll down long ones. But how do I go back when my fingers have been faster than my brain? There don't seem to be keyboard shortcuts that reverse the process (i.e. go to last message read, even if in different
