Hello ken,

Anyone else ever experience anything like this?

Yesterday I moved manually (ctrl-v) a message to a certain person from
the sent folder to a folder that is only for messages from and to that
person. It disappeared. Like you I can nowhere find it. And in the
folders list is indicated that there are 9 messages in that folder -
but only 5 appear in the message list. All my messages to that person
are no more there. No filter (that shows only messages to that person)
seems to be active.

I will check with a backup asap.

Despatching emails at set -- but different -- times

2003-12-19 Thread Iain D. Brown
Hallo Batpeople,

I wish to despatch several e-mails (separate instructions to a
listserv for a mailing list I run) at different times over the
coming days: for instance, send e-mail #1 at 15:00 hours today,
e-mail #2 at 16:00 hours tomorrow and e-mail #3 at 12:00 on Wed,
24 Dec.

Is this possible using The Bat?

I have been testing using the Scheduler, but find it just sends
all the e-mails at the same time.

Any other suggestions (apart from don't be so lazy)??!

Best wishes,

Iain.

Friday, December 19, 2003 at 8:08 AM (Pacific Time)

Hello Bat Users,

Well, I held off as long as I could before upgrading to version 2. I
used 1.62r a long time with no problems. Then I seen where I could
upgrade for only $14.00 until Jan, 10th because of the Christmas
specials. I just couldn't pass it up. I am really glad I did! The new
folder maintenance centre is very well done. I backed 1.62r up first
in case I had problems. Then I just installed 2.02.3 over the top of
1.62r, I wasn't sure you could do that but I had my back up so it
didn't mater. To my surprise, everything works fine so far. Even my
templates are working, and I thought I read something where they had to
be changed for version 2.

Anyway, I have always been very conservative when it comes to
upgrading software. I don't do it just because but I can tell you
that now is the time especially with the Christmas discounts. I am
still in the early stages of using version 2 but have not, yet anyway,
experienced any of the problems that I have seen others have on the
list. I just wanted to say how pleased I am with version 2. Everyone
have a Merry Christmas!

To have more than one default option of where to return in your
message list is something I don't think any mail client has. It's
like, to have a default option, it is always the behaviour it does
anyway when you don't tell it anything particular. Now, The Bat! is an
intelligent animal, and it remembers things. So when it helps users in
this way, to return where you were last, many users are happy about that.

I think that to return to the top, you can type ALT Home.
