Yesterday I moved manually (ctrl-v) a message to a certain person from the sent folder to a folder that is only for messages from and to that person. It disappeared. Like you I can nowhere find it. And in the folders list is indicated that there are 9 messages in that folder - but only 5 appear in the message list. All my messages to that person are no more there. No filter (that shows only messages to that person) seems to be active.
