Choosing wrong template when the address is also in a address group
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello All, I have the following: A address [EMAIL PROTECTED] that is in a address group (XLT) For this group I use a group template to start a new mail. But when I want to mail John seperately (not using the Group) and enter the address in a new mail it will still use the group template and not the general template of the account. This behaviour is common with all mail addresses that are in a group with a group template and also are being used outside of this group. How can I resolve this? The only way I've found is to create the address twice. One within the group and one in my general address book. - -- Cheers, Edgar Communicating with TB! v2.04.4, Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1 This planet has -- or rather had -- a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Some Messages Have Blank Fields
Hi all, I've noticed something a little strange that happens from time to time. Occasionally an e-mail will arrive in an Inbox that has all its details as blank i.e. Blank From: field, blank To: field, blank Subject etc, you get the idea. Essentially everything is blank. Quite often the message body actually contains the relevant e-mail and sometimes it just contains what appears to be fairly random strings of ASCII code. This is not account specific and indeed I cannot seem to isolate any pattern to when they arrive. I always check on my mail server when this happens and these e-mails do not appear there so I presume that TB! is generating them for some reason. Anyone have any ideas? Recipient's address book-Full name in the To: field
Hi Bats! I want to set a template that modify the To: field using the original address book recipient's name (if existing, of course). For example: the address book entry is: Tom Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED] That's what I want: The to: field must be set *the same* as in the address book (I mean the display name), even if I write only the email address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or the Last Name (Jones). So, first i write [EMAIL PROTECTED], then, when tabbing to the body, the TO: field is set to Tom Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED]. Is it possible? I tried with the followiong macro in the template, but it doesn't work as I need: %TO='%ABTONAME=%TOADDR' the result is [EMAIL PROTECTED], Tom Jones. It took about a week or so before it was trained sufficiently to detect spam. After another couple of weeks it was successfully intercepting most of the spam with no false positives. Every so often polling for mail would hang but temporarily disabling BayesIT would resolve the problem, so I think there was a definite correlation. It was convenient not having to run another relay like SpamPal, as everything was almost self contained with The Bat!/BayesIT combo. In spite of this advantage, I still went back to SpamPal. I think SpamPal's additional advantage of using DNSBL public blacklists makes the difference between catching most of the spam vs all of the spam. I've never had any false positives with SpamPal either.
