I'm trying to send S/MIME encrypted email to an OE recipient. When
said recipient recieves my mail, he can perfectly import the
certificate but once he tried to send me back an encrypted mail OE
gives out the warning that the message will only be encrypted with 40
bit encryption.

Thanks for that explanation of IMAP. It seems to me that IMAP is really
designed for folks that are on several computers during the day, and that
don't want to worry about missing their email. To me, it seems like a
pain..you not only delete your messages on your local client (The
