Re: where are the settings for headers to show stored?
Hello all, Saturday, April 3, 2004, dAniel hAhler wrote: I wonder where thebat stores the information of what header fields should be displayed in the preview pane, folder view or Edit Mail Message window. in registry Just packed my bat installation at home by copying the whole program folder and exporting the HKCU\Software\RIT registry key and started in on a laptop at home, from the same path and after importing the registry data. Everything works good, except that I get the default headers only. I can, however, rightclick in the header field and select from the list the things I had displayed there at home and TB will remember them. But why did I lose those settings when transferring the installation? The definitions I made (custom headers like POPFile-Link) are available in the RMB menu, but the information that they were set to be displayed got lost. Tools-Search hangs
Running 2.04.4 under Windows 98SE When I invoke Tools-Search thats the last I hear from The Bat! It goes to a busy mouse icon and I eventually have to kill the application. At present time both the menu fields Feedback | Bug Report and Information Request refer to inexistent addresses. Even the Welcome message inserted by default in the Inbox folder contains fake addresses; well, what kind of welcome message is that?! I personally found it annoying and not much professional. Potential customers could be irritated by that and decide to not use TB. -- Regards, Marco Lackovic Using The Bat! v2.04.7 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Current version is 2.04.7 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
