Hello Scott, On Tue, 5 Sep 2006 you wrote in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] SS I am meaning just the email since the backup, not ALL the messages SS in the account. I never use Dispatcher myself but I've just had a little play with it. You can get headers for all your messages. Admittedly that'll take a long time. However you can then do a global selection to nullify all reading settings and then select the first message you want, go down, hold SHIFT and select the last message and then click on retrieve. Howdy, Dispatch Mail On Server / All Messages, only shows what messages have been received today, since I restored. It does not show what is in my inbox. (So I can get emails from the 30th till Yesterday.) Something has happened to the restore file. I have backed/restored while using Gmail before. Not had an issue. IMAP tutorials anywhere?
G'day Battists. OK, I've decided that IMAP is something I really need to do, as I'll be travelling a bit, and as a media manager I really need to access my email all the time. My idea is to use my desktop as the mail machine with the mail-server, etc, and the laptop as my travelling machine. Are there any tutorials anywhere on how to go about setting it up, etc? I've googled for a while, but not found anything particularly useful. Anything out there? TIA. Why doesn't TB simply use the systems proxy settings? I am not developer, so I am not right person to answer. Proxy support was developed for Downloading images feature, which will be prepared for next beta cycle, but proxy was finished and enabled for Updates, even without GUI. GUI for proxy will be available when Downloading images will be introduced. -- Bye Marek Mikus Czech support of The Bat! http://www.thebat.cz Using the best The Bat! 3.85.02 under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 with MyMacros,XMP,AnotherMacros, NOD32 Antivirus plugin and AntispamSniper v 1.6.5 Notebook Acer, Pentium4-M 2.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM Current version is 3.85.02 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Watched no longer works
Hello TB User Discussion List, If I tried to mark a message as watched, I am asked to create a new folder - no choice to use my existing folder. Thanks for the explanation! I have my own All Mail tab that shows all mail read or unread. If I'm on that tab and switch folders, the folder settings take over, but that tab is still in focus (even though not being used). It would be far more logical to cause the All tab to take focus when a folder is changed. Currently, if I'm on All Mail and switch folders, I must click on another tab then click on All Mail to get that view. -- Best regards, Bill TB! I collect my office email at home, and when I'm in the office next day, all mails that are not on the computer yet, will be downloaded. That is as expected. I don't know how come TB didn't download the mails it itself hadn't downloaded yet; it should not matter whether they had been downloaded by Agent or another client, or read in the webinterface, before. OT: account properties and connection center
Dear all, I have a little suggestion to the function of the bat! I'm sorry if I post to the wrong list since I do not know where I should do it, so I just put Off Topic (OT) in the subject. But if you found that this function is useful for you, please forward my request to the right list. 1. It's much easier if you can add a dropdown menu or something else in account properties for changing different account quickly/directly without having to close the account properties first. 2. Is it possible to have an option to keep download process still visible in connection center after it's finished downloading ? So we can check easily/directly whether an account successfully downloaded or not. Both question is helpful when you have more than 3 e-mail accounts. That's all, Thank you. -- Regards, MS Darmawan ___ Using The Bat! v3.80.06 Send instant messages to your online friends http://asia.messenger.yahoo.com Current version is 3.85.02 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
