download speed of the packages and what are the actual URL stated in the

There are two options for address list headers for exactly these two scenarios
:-) I would agree that the "autocomplete" option works too aggressive and we
should consider to remove it, at least as the default behaviour.

Once you point to a copy of your mail folder on the first run of The Bat! you
should be prompted with a list of the accounts found in the folder, so just
select the accounts you wish to work with and that's it :-)

Here are the main ones:

1. Main Window's main menu shortcuts can be used from other windows, so you
should be careful assigning shortcuts to there.
2. Single-character shortcuts should not be used in main menus of any window as
they will intercept those characters from input controls, so it is recommended
to use them in local menus of lists or those controls that are not using text
input.

Presumably, you are talking about IMAP folders in your scenario, then the
answer is yes - you can do it with incoming filters assigned to specific
folders, select "Any message" or whatever condition you need and add the "mark
as read" action to the filter.

Go to Options | Preferences - Message List - Color Groups and edit the Generic

It's very strange you have that freezing for non-classic themes. What is your

2021-05-11 Thread Stefan Tanurkov via TBUDL
Hello Jernej,

> OK, my problem is that the block is the first thing in the list, so it
> doesn't have a related operator.

I wonder how did you manage to put it on the top :)

Then, you still can just edit it manually as text if it's too difficult to
recreate it - copy filter in the Sorting Office and paste it into a text
editor, you will see text like this:

 TB! Message Filter
beginFilter
UID: [D5E1442A.01D6CCA1.6BAEB230.47D2BEF4]
Name: New\20filter
Filter: {\0D\0A\20`24`0`0`20201210T22Z\0D\0A{0\0D\0A}\0D\0A}
IsActive
IsHotkey
IsHotkeyOnly
Ignore
endFilter

In the "Filter" line, the "{0\0D\0A}" (the second character may vary from 0 to
3) sequence stands for that empty block you want to delete. Just delete it,
copy the text and paste it into Sorting Office as a new filter.

I've just executed a search for your "lwv" string and found your message, just
as I expected. So, it could be something related to your setup.

Generally speaking, search function could be tricky especially when it comes to

It cannot be disabled right now as it's currently hard-coded, but we will make
it optional/configurable soon. Before that, you can create a quick template for
inserting the text and give it a short handle (e.g. "c" - a single character).
Then, you'll just need to type the handle and press Ctrl+Space

Do you mean you want some kind of an external configurator? Why do you need it
anyway? :) To disable periodical checking while The Bat! is running, you can
use "Options|Work offline". If it's a fresh installation, you can create a
"dummy" account (with a fake address), switch into offline mode and then
restore from your backup. But it's a valid point you're making here... :-)

Yeah, if connection with the server cannot be established, you need to operate
manually - it is possible copy .TBB and .TBN files of an IMAP
folder as Message.TBB and Messages.TBN of a local folder - they have the same
format. The only problem that could occur is absence of downloaded message body

If I try running all options in the Maintenance Centre manually then, apart from some options showing in a corrupted font when running, it finishes all tasks OK.

Anyone know why TB! is taking it upon itself to maintain folders or whatever it's trying to overnight without being asked to?

Thanks.

This is now becoming intolerable and unless I can find a fix I have to choose between an earlier TB, and lose full access to GMAIL, or keep the current one and have it lock up every time I close the Windows Remote DEesktop cconnection to the remote Windows 7 PC it is running on.

I suspect a file or something from my previous legacy version is lurking somewhere and effecting things. Some options show as corrupted fonts when I manually run the Maintenance Centre, and one option, run on its own, locks up TB completely, never completes its task and needs Task Manager to kill it.

I have never come across any application run remotely that "knows" the remote connection has been closed and takes it upon itself to "do thing". How can this occur and are there any logging options to help find the cause please?

IIRC, first version The Bat! with Google OAUTH support was 7.x, so your version
is too old and you will have to upgrade.

With v10 released yesterday, Ritlabs is offering 50% discount from the full
price for upgrade from versions prior to 9.0, the upgrade process must be
painless as the only thing is needed is just installation of the new version
(it is always recommended to have a backup, of course).

What do you mean? Each RSS is stored in its own folder currently...

I see. Your point is taken - RSS folders are normal local folders, so there
should be a way to move them around and keep under other locally stored
folders, not just under the "RSS Subscriptions". Wish added :-)
