Update TheBat to v.6.6 or higher. They work and cause no trouble. For me it costs money for the upgrade: 19,95 Eur for the Home version, 29,95 Eur for the pro version (both plus taxes) 2. Use a different Email-client like Thunderbird which costs 0 Eur. I have not decided yet what I will do. As I use Voyager, I'd need to upgrade my pro version for almost 40 Euro which also *might* solve my other issue with TheBat crashing with "TMail message released before its use". OTOH if that crash does not get fixed, it would be a 40 Eur for a single "bugfix", because the current version I have, 5.x, does all I need and want concerning functionality. I think I will take a look at Thunderbird and all its functions and plugins whether they can compete with TheBat concerning filters, address books, postbox inspector and templates. And it would make a possible switch from Windows to Linux definitely more attractive, or does Ritlabs plan to release a Mac or Linux version? Hi, this morning I contacted the 1&1 support too. Of course the first thing he blamed was TheBat, and as I do not use any other Email client as TheBat and TheBat-Voyager for my private Emails, I couldn't say whether other Email clients have the same problem. So we agreed to the following: 1. He would contact the backend support to find out whether there have been taken changes and keep me informed. Dunno whether he really does that or not, but because sending Emails has become a problem 2 days ago, there must be changes imo. 2. I would try SMTP sending Emails with Thunderbird to check whether this is also a client problem. For point #2 I can confirm that it is no problem sending Emails from my web.de account with Thunderbird with the same settings as in TheBat, that means: SMTP: smtp.web.de Port 587 Authentication: Normal Password (is this equivalent to "SMTP authentication RFC 2554" in TheBat?) Connection Security: STARTTLS So I guess the ball is in the game now for Ritlabs and 1&1 / United Internet (web.de and gmx belong to them) to find out what UI changed so that TheBat now has that much trouble while other Email clients have not. Printing problem
Hi all, since several versions I suffer from a strange behaviour concerning printing. I can only print once. If I try it for another time, nothing happens. Not even the print dialog opens. Mail Dispatcher Window size
Hello Usergroup, is it possible, and if so, how?, to have the mail dispatcher in maximized window per default each time the mail dispatcher pops up? At the moment the 4.0.34 always shows the mail dispatcher in a smaller window. Even when I maximize it hoping that this setting is saved for the future, it doesn't work. Hello Miguel, There is a bug report open to this problem in https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=7154 The problem is certainly fixed in latest ALPHA (4.0.39.27) that I am using. Hi group, since installing to the newest TheBat version 3.99.24/1.274 I get some strange Exception after exiting TheBat. Internet search shows that this problem ist known but happens for different reasons. But I do not find a solution whether I should act on it or take it as a flaw and leave it as it is. I am using it on a DELL Inspiron 6400 Laptop, Intel CoreDuo 2 GHz (T2500). Do You use some plugins? if Yes, try to remove them and check again.
