Can't delete?

From time to time I can' t delete any e-mails and have to delete the entire account and create a new one, this is driving me insane, any way to fix this? Patricia Current version is 1.62r | Using TBUDL information:

How often do you purge and compress your account? How often do you optimize your hard disk? When's the last time you ran scandisk? I never purge and compress the account, didn't t know I should, I have it set up to delete all trash when I close The Bat! but I supposed this purge and compress

Select a folder, go to Folders, View Deleted Messages. Your emails aren't really deleted, they are just flagged as deleted and hidden from view. purge/compress removes them from the message base complete. Thank you very much, I will try this, hopefully it will fix my problem! Patricia

If the image is sent with the email, TB! will show it. If the image is not attached to the email but is only a link to an external location, TB! will not show it. -- Dave So it is not possible to insert pictures into the e-mail at this time, just attach them? Patricia

Interesting way to solve hanging mail problems

Okay, I found a very interesting way to solve the hanging mail problem. I load TB! then it hangs so I hit abort/No and then wait a minute, then hit the actual tool bar button that says, Get Mail and it doesn't hang. Weird I know, but it works! Patricia

Such intolerance is what makes me uncomfortable. It reminds me of the rhetoric we hear here in the US . . . I think analogy to smoking is rather inappropriate . . . the last time I checked, html mail hasn't killed anyone, or my using it (on rare occasion) hasn't harm your health in any way. . .
