 You could use Telnet and the STAT command. See, for example,

It seems that this might be relatively easy to implement in the
program?  Maybe this would be a suggestion for version 4, to have the
mailbox space available visible in the status bar when selected.

Hi,

Is there a possibility to check the space taken on a server?
say if the server capacity is 10MB and you stow messages without
deleting, how can one check the total space taken on this particular
server?

I don't think you can do that easily via TB. Well, you could do
Account - Dispatch Mail On Server - All Messages and sum the sizes
manually, but I said easily.
