BCC doesn't work, How to filter bounces clear the to field
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello tbudl, I tried several times to test the mass mailing feature of the bat. I did as mentioned in the help files and put an address in the to: field as not to reveal others addresses but no one in the BCC field gets a message... How would you filter bounced messages? I expect to get all sorts of bounces soon but would like to never see one of them. I remember a while back spamkiller could do this. What do all bounces have in common that would not interfere will my regular mail? Also, I've tested TB! mailing a lot and have filled up where the To: field is with all sorts of addresses. How do I clear it? Can I cycle through the addresses too? Thank you all for your time :) - -- Best regards, Victor B. For mass mailing, you need to create your message as a quick template and in the quick template configuration, enable 'Use for new messages/mass mailing'. You then go in the address book, select the addresse/s or address book group/s, go to File/Use Mass Mailing with template. Select from the drop down list which template to use. An individual message for each selected address or member of selected address book group/s will be created and sent. VG How would you filter bounced messages? What do all VG bounces have in common that would not interfere will my regular VG mail? I'm not sure, but I'd examine the headers for something unique. I'd have to examine a bounced message but I don't have any at present. The topic is usually distinct, like Message send failure You could filter on that. VG Also, I've tested TB! mailing a lot and have filled up where the VG To: field is with all sorts of addresses. How do I clear it? I assume that you're referring to the To: drop down history list? If so, use the up and down arrows to navigate through the list and the delete key to delete entries. There's no option to clear it as a single command. VG Can I cycle through the addresses too? Yes, but only through the auto-complete option. If you type a string in the To: field, you can cycle through the matching addresses in the To: history list using CTRL+ and CTRL-. -- -=] Allie C Martin [=- {List Moderator} MUA: TB! v1.62 Christmas Edition ___ OS: WinXP Pro (SP1) Current version is 1.62 | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
