It has always seemed to me (on the relatively rare occasions when I'm having to deal with HTML) that the real problem was not the blue line itself but it's massive nature. If it were nice and thin as in other clients, it would be ok. -- Dwight A. I cannot say that I like it... :( ASK I thought its only an on-screen rendering in Thunderbird that you can ASK turn on and off, or is it permanent with HTML mails? It may very well be that it can be turned off. I haven't dug too deep into TBird's settings yet - I only installed my actual Linux partition with Kanotix a few days ago. I turned off the default sending of HTML though. :)) And now, with the new beta of The Bat! present, I'm even more in a conflict which OS I should start... ;-) I'll check the blue lines next time I run TBird. :) For The Bat! I most definitely wish them to be optional, when there's any need for them at all. -- Cheers Peter The Bat! v3.96.01 :beta: on WinXP, SP2, 5, 1, build 2600, AMD Athlon 2200+ at 1794 MHz, 512 MB RAM Current version is 3.95.08 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Blue Lines
A friend sent me an email that he asked me to edit and return to him. When I hit reply, I get his text with a thick blue line to the left, and it's nearly impossible to edit what he sent me in any coherent way. What causes the blue line? Is it possible to turn that off? Frustrating. -- Mike Current version is 3.95.06 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
