I use a number of GFI products and have never had a problem. Their reputation is very good and their scanner program is often recommended in the security community. I recall others on the list discussing strange happenings with certain anti-virus plug-ins and programs. What anti-virus program are you using? Any anti-virus plug-in? If you are getting the message over and over, even if you are offline, you may have a problem with TB and your anti-virus program. A search of the archives may prove useful. You might also want to take a look at the processes running on your computer to see if there are, in fact, any programs that you do not recognize. -- Best Regards, Terry Using The Bat! v1.62i on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 3 Current version is 1.62 | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I don't believe there's a hidden program. I'd do a search for all new/changed files of that date with the file manager set to display hidden files too, just to make sure. Perhaps the mail is for any reason not deleted on the server? You can check with the mail dispatcher. -- Cheers Peter Black Holes were created when God divided by zero. I remember when I first started using TB! I sent a very nasty email to a company who I thought was spamming my inbox, only to discover I had turned the delete from server setting off!
