Can anybody who already runs The Bat! under Wine on
Linux tell me how to get TB! to use GnuPG? Is there a
way to get The Bat! under Wine to use the GnuPG already

the Windows GnuPG.exe to Wine's PATH environment
variable?
The workaround I am using for now is below. It allows The Bat! to find
and use GnuPG. But GnuPG operations take about three times as long
when called from TB! under Wine compared to my Windows setup. Is this
sluggishness normal? And does anybody have a better workaround?
Workaround:-
In Wine's Program Files directory, create a symlink GnuPG to the
Windows folder where gpg.exe and iconv.dll reside. Add that location
to Wine's PATH environment variable as C:\Program Files\GnuPG.
(To avoid duplicating my GnuPG keyrings and configuration files for
the test, I also created a symlink GnuPG from Wine's
user1\Application Data directory to the corresponding Windows
location.)
