Re: Open Ltr to Moderators
Hi all, I signed up for this forum a long time ago using this AOL address. I'd like to unsubcribe the AOL address and then resubscribe with a special TB address on my own domain. I know how to subscribe, but not how to unsubscribe. Will someone be so kind as to provide me a direct link and to the unsubscribe page along with any necessary instructions? Most appreciated! I know how to subscribe, Qac but not how to unsubscribe. Since I just unsubscribed in order to re-subscribe with this address, I can tell you it's easy: Highlight any message in the list. Go to Specials / Mailing Lists / Unsubscribe. Click on it, and send the resulting email. You will get an email back that asks your to confirm your unsubscription. All you have to do is high Reply and send the message. You will get a confirmation that your are unsubscribed. Voila. Now, here is a beauty: alt-drag your TBUDL folder from the old account right into the new account. All the threads will be contained, and new messages will thread fine into them! But of course, you will have to create a new filter for TBUDL in that account. Go to the TBUDL filter in the old account, and right-click on it while you are in the filter list. Choose Copy. Then open the Sorting Office in the new account, open the Incoming filters and right-click so you can choose Paste. The filter with all its intrinsic details will be ready to serve you. This may be more detailled than you ask for, but others may have the same idea. -- Cheers, Thomas. Moderator der deutschen The Bat! Beginner Liste.
