Same here, just sends from my default account (unless I change it).

W I go a different route, I've created an account without a related ISP. I draft

Grey tide eel.

W When I get ready to send I click on options-active account, select the account I

Or indeed press the arrow at the end of the from field and select from the
drop-down list :-)

W can draft a reply without an oops.

Another grey tide eel.

Cannot confirm.

Sent from a virtual subfolder of a virtual folder.

I have a default account, but due to writing to TBUDL it was catched by
my new-mail-template's check and assigned the specific account (for
mailinglists).

Steps to disable sending of messages - this is a bug report for all versions

2004-07-22 Thread Michael L. Wilson
Greetings All,

1. Create a new top level folder outside of any account folder tree.
I created one and called it discussions
2. Create a sub-folder under that. I created one called TBUDL
3. Highlight that TBUDL folder that is not inside any account tree
so that it is selected
4. Go to the address book and select the address for the bat user
discussion list
5. select new message
6. write the message
7. Press send and nothing happens

My guess is that the program does not know what account to send it
through, so I corrected this by using the %account= macro and there
is no change. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Also not that this has been an issue will all 2.x version, and no one
seems to understand or care.

I don't have any common folders, so I can't tell for sure, but..
What happens when you check:
Account - Properties - General - 'This account is the default for mailto:URLS's
