Transferring TB from an old machine

2004-02-13 Thread Andrew Wainwright
I've received bought a new machine (and passed my old one on to
someone who has now wiped the hard disk). Does anyone know if
I am entitled to my licensed copy of TB, or if I'll have to pay again?

No. The EULA for TB! doesn't restrict you to installing TB! on only
one machine.

From this, my understanding carries the agreement even further in
that, you can have TB! installed on more than one machine, provided
that only you will be using those installations (the license is not
transferable) and that you'll not be using both installations at the
same time.

You can still use the old license; as long as TB is only being used on
one machine, you're fine. If you haven't kept your registration key
you'll have to pay a small amount to get a new one though.
