Thanks, MAU. That was one of the two methods I thought of. The other
was for the outgoing filter to copy 'any message' to the archive sent
folder and to set the Sent Mail folder to delete messages after NNN
days.

After TB! has been running for more than about 10 hours, I get the following
error message when it tries to connect to any of my POP accounts. After a
reboot the system works perfectly well again.
