I am wondering by the lack of any answer that batpost is not that well

Yes, but that is a special use case. Not capable of the same things.

The url you gave shows that ADR cost $10 less than BatPost, which is
 not a significant difference.

What?

 This is what http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/batpost/ says:

Ok.

How does that compare with ADR?

Try them and see.

tb I use it as my own personal, robust, SMTP server. I can write plugins
tb for outgoing mail, and manage complex mailing lists.

 Large ones?

Only about 500 users myself, but the software is used for much larger.

tb Also, there is another one, whose name I would remember if I heard it.
tb If you are indeed interested in ADR and similar, I can find it for you.

 Please do.

One of the others I was evaluating, is MADY from ocloudsoft.
But at the time, they offered only one product, called MADY,
but which was version 1 of what is now called Mail Direct 2.

This is a URL, I will not be providing you extensive support for it.

  http://www.ocloudsoft.com/product.htm

I was about to write my own before I found ADR and wrote plugins for it.
