Re: Read unread message in next mail folder, possible?

If I read messages in the Inbox and the MK next mail folder down has some new unread messages, is it possible MK to move to the mail folder with the unread messages in it? MK When I press Ctrl + ] to read unread messages in the current mail MK folder, it will not automatically skip over to the next mail MK folder containing unread messages. MK Thanks. I forgot to include, I am wanting to know if I can accomplish this by not using the mouse, tab and/or arrow keys. If this is not a feature in TB!, this would be nice to see this feature in TB! as a user configurable setting. For those users who would like to see and use this feature can and for those who don't can use TB! as it is now. -- Mark Knipfer mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v1.49 on Windows NT 5.0 Build 2195 -- __ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi Mark, On 09 February 2001 at 15:27:50 -0500 (which was 20:27 where I live) Mark Knipfer wrote and made these points: MK When I press Ctrl + ] to read unread messages in the current mail MK folder, it will not automatically skip over to the next mail folder MK containing unread messages. That is correct. The current structure of TB doesn't allow for this functionality through the main front end window. Personally, I leave the TB main window minimised to the tool-tray except when searching the archives or doing some housekeeping. The ticker and its associated virtual folder are available for exactly this purpose. TB will put all new mail into a single virtual folder which can be accessed only through the ticker, regardless of which folder it really resides in or has been filtered to. That is the way TB does it. It is a matter of simplicity to follow the mail back to its source folder as long as the message list is enabled. Just press Return and the mail is in the proper folder context. Press Esc to get back to the ticker folder when done. - -- Cheers -- .\\arck D.
