I'm not completely sold on TB! so I'm maintaining OE on my machine as I evaluate TB!. Worse comes to worse I can always open OE find the person I'm looking for. Yes, I believe this is what I did because my *only* interest in Netscape was to test pages created for my website. I never anticipated using for any another purpose , at this juncture, I'm not sure it's worth the space on my drives which are already packed. The Wabout link leads to a a site which describes it's product as a program to be used for importing IE records into Outlook. Let me say that I have exported from IE to CSV format was able to import it into TB! however, I was not able to import all the information that was exported from IE, such as Tel #, web page, etc. despite the fact that I set this up in the fields. Also Graham offered "Dawn" as a program to facilitate export-import process. My personal experience with Dawn was that I was not successful exporting to a Pegasus format importing into TB!. Undoubtedly, I took a wrong turn -- don't know where, however. So I take this opportunity to thank you all for your help. My conclusion, on day 20 of my TB! evaluation period, is that the TB! developers should make this transfer easier given the popularity of OE. At the interguru site I didn't find an LDIF converter. I have a copy of Netscape 4.08 (?) but being an IE person, I couldn't find a way to convert my OE address book to the LDIF format. Can you lead me through the Netscape alternative? Many thanks. -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Jan, Your best bet is to get a copy of Dawn, which is a program that can convert your OE address book from OE format to one of a number (including from memory, Pegasus) that could be recognised by TB. Its freeware and available from a number of software libraries. I seem to remember seeing it on Softseek (www.softseek.com).
