Thank you. Appearently, I misinterpreted the Account properties/IMAP fine tune

For local filtering. I use IMAP instead of pop for syncronization across two

No. IMAP is also fine for filtering the messages already on the server
(ONCE!) and not in any client again. For *me* this is the most important
 benefit from IMAP over POP.

Makes sense.

Especially when I fetch my mails with my mobile I would like to fetch
only messages from some folders, not all. Using POP I will get all
 messages.

Let me think about that. Those messages that go into the Newsletters
folder in my POP account are not really so urgent that I need to see
them on my phone - server-side filtering does make sense. I never
thought about not subscribing to certain folders.

Makes a lot of sense when data roaming, which I have to do more often
that I'd like to.

Message headers disappear

2004-09-20 Thread admin
When I'm viewing messages in the windoiw that lists the contents of a
mailbox:

if I place the pointer over the join between headers, to change the
width of that column and press the left mouse button to drag the width
of the column, the column instantly shrinks to 0 (zero) width.

It can only be restored by a right click and 'manually' changing the
width using the numerical adjustment box.

Is this just me?

Sounds familiar. I've heard it before and I could reproduce that.
Though I'm not sure about the version that bug was encountered.
However I can't do that anymore, so I guess that it's fixed in the
current beta.

IIRC Don't try to change the width of the columns in the folder pane,
they'll show the same problem and can only be fixed in the registry.

For instance, suppose I am typing an address and then want to erase

It is funny that this should happen with a post about headers.
I checked the original and what I found it that I have a weird subject
line, with additional characters. These made the line split up and also
made TB! believe that the msg started after the subject header.

The only thing I know I did was copy the subject from the text, something

I have no idea what is meant by the columns and what a yes or no would

Ah! I think you may have it, Thomas. When I look at the filters for

I haven't changed any settings and my other accounts (different

Also, if you leave messages on the server for x days, TB must look
