I think the big issue with people
addicted to their cell phones, is that sometimes they simply forget to turn
them off, making for very awkward social situations.
I wouldn't say it's an addiction thing. My mother always forgets to
silence or turn hers off at movies, mainly because she forgets
However, I do leave it on vibrate. I'll be the only one who knows a call is
coming in, but I will check it's called ID and if it's important, I will
excuse myself from the table and answer it.
