On a new amd64 install w/ install73.img there was a shutdown message
about kernel relinking failing.
A manual sha256 -h /var/db/KERNEL.SHA256 /bsd also failed - no such
file.
My /var/db had kernel.SHA256 but no KERNEL.SHA256.

newly formatted. /etc/installurl came up as my nearest mirror:
mirrors.sonic.net which I had previously used for the snapshot install.
If it's working - sorry for the noise.

My last 2 updates overwrite Grub2 in a Centos 8/OpenBSD setup. The
update proceed normally and generates no warnings. I recovered the last
time by booting the Centos install disk in rescue mode and running
grub-install. With some direction, I should be able to provide install

Would it be of value to the project to apply the patch, generate an

The market is being flooded with Win10 netbooks, NAS, NUC-type devices
that use eMMC. I suspect this is due to the eMMC being filled with
multiple backups from Microsofts' update process and being returned for
failure to update. The devices are relatively cheap. Leveno, Acer,
Asus and HP all
