Lots of ThinkPads such as X220, X230, T420, T430, etc. have excellent support for both coreboot and OpenBSD. I'm using an X230 with coreboot and SeaBIOS using the linear framebuffer; disabling inteldrm(4) on this machine makes efifb(4) attach and graphics work, however I have never tested it more thoroughly.

Not sure what a good machine is, but jcs@ added support for the coreboot framebuffer to support x86 chromebooks.
Good CoreBoot system?
What would be a good system with CoreBoot to get for OpenBSD testing? It looks like there are some edge cases where the CoreBoot framebuffer support won't behave the same as the EFI framebuffer.
