I wouldn’t say this is a known issue, but I have seen this happen extremely
rarely, on the order of once in a few years.
The issue is likely due to some memory corruption and the pointer to @APPFILE
has been lost.
It might be interesting to see if there was an error logged in
Installed successfully on El Capitan (10.11.6) using the
"Install_Terascript_10_10" script.
Note that I had already been running TS server 7 on El Capitan
One big trick appears to be installing Java 6 if you have a fresh install of El
