Hi
You should set up the TESSDATA_PREFIX variable aiming to the folder where
tesseract is being installed.
Check this:

There I have successfully build a docker that runs tesseract

If you are on Ubuntu, use Alex's ppa.

The link should be on the tessdoc documentation page that I had referred to
earlier.

BTW: right answer is: like any other command like tool.
Based on your last posts: you try so skip learning phase e.g. to understand
what are doing, understand tools are you using etc. This is wrong approach.

Note that if you don't have leptonica installed on the machine 
you'll have to do that first.
