[Test-Announce] Proposal to CANCEL: 2018-07-23 Fedora QA Meeting

2018-07-20 Thread Adam Williamson
Hi folks! I'm proposing we cancel the QA meeting on Monday. I don't
see anything urgent to discuss, so let's take the time off.

If you're aware of anything important we have to discuss this week,
please do reply to this mail and we can go ahead and run the meeting.
Thanks!

Kernel Test Results Failed to Send

2018-07-20 Thread Garry Williams
I just upgraded to 4.17.7-200.fc28.x86_64 and ran the kernel tests.
When the results were to be sent, I got this:

Test suite complete PASS

Your log file is being submitted...
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./fedora_submit.py", line 6, in
from fedora.client import OpenIdBaseClient
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'fedora'

(Yes, I did git pull first.)

Re: F29 network issues

2018-07-20 Thread Julen Landa Alustiza
Adam said on the last meeting that there was an known issue with
NetworkManager not starting properly somethings.

sudo systemctl start NetworkManager should repair your issue until it's
fixed

F29 network issues

2018-07-20 Thread Alessio Ciregia
Using F29 I've spotted that sometimes (1 time every 5 reboots, more or
less) the network interface doesn't work. Upon reboots, the network
address of the ethernet interface is not configured.

Issuing the command
  nmcli connection show
I get that the NetworkManager is not running.
Starting the service, the network start to work.

I've spotted this issue on two F29 installations.
How to diagnose this behaviour?
