If you installed winpython, you don't need canopy. I don't use pycharm, so
I can't comment. But I think I heard it have more feature then spyder.
3) I didn't wrote the current windows instruction. But I think there is a
special sheel to open to have it with python activated. Don't open the
standard windows shell. Or it is that you need to log out and log in to
have the change take effect.
