[tw] TW saving problem with new versions of Firefox (and, maybe, Chrome)

2013-01-22 Thread Sergey Shidlovsky
Hello, TW fellows! =) I want to discuss a problem that I've got when my Firefox was automatically updated to version 17 or so, I think. After that any changes that I make in my TiddlyWiki, causes a warning window to appear with standard text about impossible saving: It's not possible to save

[tw] Re: Question about a modified tagged box

2013-01-22 Thread David Gifford
Thanks Scott, I know that doing the display none you suggest won't work because it will make it invisible whether there are tags or not, and obviously I want it visible when there are tags. I tried .tagged .tiddlyLinkNonExisting {display:none;}, but that did not change anything. I tried the

Messy, but it sounds like it's doing the trick for the moment. Maybe you could try setting the widths of the .viewer and .tagged/.tagging DIVs permanently: .tagging, .tagged { width: 20%; } .viewer {width:80% } I think that will give you a permanent triptych-style tiddler with 40% of the

I finally upgraded to 2.7.0 (opening the file, renaming it, renaming the 2.7.0 file to the original file name, and saving) Unfortunately I still can't get my options to save when I open my file on Chrome. For example, my name keeps returning to YourName. Any ideas or references will be

[tw] Best way to use TiddlyWiki on Android?

Anyone uses TiddlyWiki on his Android? The AndTidWiki app only opens local files in a specific folder, which means I can't use Google drive to sync it. Thanks, Ronen. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. To view this discussion on

Sergey If you install the TiddlyFox firefox add-on, this should allow you to save. I am using Firefox 18 and got the same message that you did. I installed TiddlyFox yesterday and now saving my TiddlyWiki works perfectly. Cheers Andrew Mc On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 1:11:30 AM UTC+13,

Thank you for your reply. I tried importing the CookieSaverPlugin but couldn't get it to work. Setting the PersistentOptions manually is just not practical. I'm an early adopter and I have no problems with trying new things. I'm actually a very technical person, but it seems that in order to use

[tw] Still Getting Enabling TiddlyWiki file saving capability Prompt After Installing TiddlyFox

I just discovered TiddlyWiki tonight. So obviously I must be using the latest and greatest code. It appears TiddlyWiki is at version 2.7.0. I also got the latest TiddlyFox extension which is 1.0alpha3. When all was said and done I shut down Firefox and restarted. The thing is, every time I
