Jed, I didn't see a caption field in your wiki, which is what I am using to put the transclusions in. I believe I have solved my problem with an upgrade though. My wiki was 5.1.4, and I upgraded it to 5.1.7 and now the transclusions in the caption field show up properly. Unfortunately I

It doesn't work on my other wiki that uses version 5.1.5. I know that there were some changes made to the TOC macros for 5.1.6 so that may be it if you are using one of the older versions. If that is the problem, and you don't want to/can't upgrade, than importing the tiddler
