Hi,
I was trying to silently create a tiddler with a given tag and it didn't
work well.
Until I found a solution by Jed Carty (
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/tiddlywiki/-_Bsj8WO58Q/xoZiITK5pO4J) with
action-setfield widget.
What I tried :
<$fieldmangler tiddler="newTestTiddler">
<$button
The tiddlers created using setfield are made without created or modified
fields. When you open a toddler and save it the fields are added. I think if
you split the fields between two setfield widgets it may work.

Can I turn off CTRL+I in Tiddlywiki 5? I like to use Vimerator to edit my
wiki entries and when I press CTRL+I I get italics instead of gvim.

Wow! I went to study. Thank you. As always, great answers.
I spied on http://historydates.tiddlyspot.com. And I realized that I do not
understand how to do tiddlers with tables with dynamic entries variables.
It's about the tiddlers chronology (or journal).

They current way to work with checkboxes and tasks in TW5 has one problem

as a unit, and there's no way for me to add text
Hi Jed,
I'm using your solution (dating back to 28/03/2015) and it works well.
I was just reporting about something that looks strange to me : the
difference between the two cliks on the button. The first one does nothing
(or almost nothing) and it seems to me to be the correct behaviour. The

Back to my point.
What I tried (on tiddmywiki.com)
Putting that button on tiddlyspot.com just opens up the non-existent tiddler
most of the time and sometimes creates a new tiddler. It doesn't seem to be
consistent, I don't know why.

Make two tiddlers. The Task List Tiddler, called whatever you want it to
be, and the child tasks template called 'childTasks' with the following
code:
Task List tiddler:

<$list filter='[is[current]!tag[done]]'>

I have an idea. I'm trying to have the toc-expandable property to work with the
filter list the task management currently works with. The problem is that I
don't know how to do it, the list filter is a different than the toc
expandable.
Anyone has an idea?
Sorry, I'm
Hi Jed,
Thanks a lot for making this plugin. I was trying to find a way to
organize my notes a certain way and this solves it for me perfectly.
I did find a small bug:
- When creating new fields for tags in the control panel, if you
accidentally enter an invalid name for the field (like
If you open the control panel there is a keyboard shortcutstab, you can change

Sergey,
I have one additional plugin that I have been working on that isn't quite
ready yet. It will convert rows of a TiddlyWiki table into individual
tiddlers. If that is where you're ultimately going, I'll put some
additional effort into it so I can put it up more quickly.
On Tuesday,
Ok, after furiously fighting with my lack of skills for quite a while I
finally made it. I have absolutely no scripting skills an no programming
knowledge,so I am sure this not at all the correct way to do it and there
are probably lots of mistakes and inneficiencies, but please bear with

Yes, but this particular search is pretty efficient... "all[current]" is a
simple reference to the current tiddler
You have attached an html file that shows the control panel
