Hi Jon
Thank you for yet another great and very usefull TWadaption.
You set high standards for innovation and give us a glimpse of future
development when you present a new TW - I loose my breath when looking
through your AdvancedEditTemplatePlugin ... wauw - it's a long one ...
As usual I'm
However - two things are a little annoying (in Google Chrome).
If you want to refresh display and there are unsaved changes - you are
asked if you want to leave the page. If you choose not to - it
refreshes the page anyway and you loose the changes.

to *see* the colors I am choosing, it's really hard to judge if they
will look right, without saving the ColorPalette changes and testing

Hi,
It seems that as soon as I put a edit fieldname macro in a
tiddler, it becomes impossible to edit the text from that point on
(from inside TiddlyWiki; I could always hack the file externally I
suppose!); hitting edit in the toolbar just focuses on the new input
field. Is that right, and is

Hi,
Is there a way I can filter *and* sort in DefaultTiddlers? I would
like to do something like[tag[report]] [sort[+title]]?

Thanks Eric, for this new tool helping in working out new palettes.
By the way, what's the difference between the default 216-color 'web
safe' colors and any other?
In using any color I never came across an apparent
I reported this issue earlier. Here is the recap:
I am trying to use TidIDE Editor with the Notestorm - most likely not
doing it right. Here is how my edit template looks like when it
almost works:

if I compare your two templates it stands out that you actually don't
use the default edit text box - but the TidIDE interface - which
usually is displayed in view mode only!
Hi
Is there a way to format (some of the text) ive put in my custom
fields and/or create links to other tiddlers in my custom fields?

Thanks a lot Eric!!
This is surely a tool which makes life easier - especially for someone

If you have the FieldsEditorPlugin (http://visualtw.ouvaton.org/
VisualTW.html), you can put [[differentTiddler]] into the contents of
a field, and it will be an active link.
For making changes to text that you've already put into your custom
fields, there was great advice in this thread:
I've been trying to fully understand the ways you can record, edit,
and retrieve structured data in a TW. So far, I see the following as
the options:
- tables within a tiddler
- slices, where a field name is followed by the field value, and by
using the ForEachTiddler plugin, you can retrieve
Hi Alan,
the options:
- tables ..
- slices ..
- Form and Data tiddler plugins ..
- custom fields..
...
ForEachTiddler plugin can be used to retrieve values from multiple
tiddlers
Not only ForEachTiddlerPlugin, but also InlineJavascriptPlugin
dependent scripts can retrieve the values in
Not a full response, to your question, just a note that you be aware
that form fields need not require you to have them in ALL your
tiddlers. You can create a custom viewtemplate and/or edittemplate for
a set of tiddlers that share the same tag.
