I suspect this is due to this issue:
https://github.com/TiddlyWiki/tiddlywiki/issues/38
I don't think we have quite worked out what has changed yet.
In the meantime the workaround is to use another browser to do the
upgrade.
Best wishes

Hi,
Is it possible to make a plugin out of MathQuill (http://
mathquill.github.com/) onto tiddlywiki? It allows WYSIWYG interface
for writing equations and would be really helpful. Don't know how that
can be done if its possible. Can anyone help?
Thanks,

Under Linux I tried Firefox, Chromium, Opera and Rekonq and all of
them refused to update an empty TW. Should I try another OS also?
On a side note, I guess this finally answers a question that has been
bothering me for some time now: TW is dead! It has been a pleasant
ride but now it's over.
Is there a way to teach TW to recognize/support mediawiki formatting?

Hi. I have been using an MPTW wiki on tiddlyspot.com for a few years
now, as a combined notebook and shortcuts organiser. It has become
totally indispensible to me both at home and at work.
I access it at home using Ubuntu Linux (Karmic) and Firefox 3-point-
something.
I also use it at work using
Running 3.1.8cbeta with IE8 on WinXP SP3
Everything else seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Jon. Worked just fine in IE8. Feels odd that something doesn't
work in FF, but does work in IE.

Hi Seba
I have managed to do something like what you are asking, using a bit
of server-side php code. For example, in one TW, when a user enters
data for a new reference (using a html form).on hitting the submit
botton, the information from the form is used 1/ to create and open a
new wiki,
Hi All
For a long time I have been playing around with having TW store
information into a database (mySQL on my server). And now that seems
to be working reasonably well.
Now the challenge is to get the information back into TW in a format I
can easily use.
So, I have a simple html form where

In my previous thread (https://groups.google.com/group/tiddlywiki/

trying to achieve by passing information between TW (actually various
TWs) and a MySQL database on my server.
When my GET form creates a tiddler, I often
I haven't been able to upgrade any of my files. either. I only have
Linux and Android boxes, so an 'IE' fix is useless.

Hello Måns,
Thank you for your reply. It looks nice I will try it out but still
it seems that equation needs to be written in Latex form. Would be
really helpful if mathquill is integrated since it allows you to edit
the equation directly as you would write it.
Thanks,
Milind
